You notice the symptoms. Allergies that won’t quit. Headaches that show up at home and disappear when you leave. A musty smell you can’t track down. You’ve cleaned, you’ve aired out the house, but nothing changes.
That’s because the problem isn’t on the surface. Indoor air can hold mold spores, dust mites, pet dander, VOCs from cleaning products, and other pollutants at levels two to five times higher than outdoor air. You’re not imagining it.
A professional air quality test identifies exactly what’s in your air and where it’s coming from. We test for mold, allergens, chemicals, and other contaminants that affect how you feel in your own home. Once you know what you’re dealing with, you can actually fix it instead of masking symptoms or guessing at solutions that don’t work.
We work with homeowners across Bucks County who need to know what’s affecting their indoor air quality. We’re not a national franchise following a script. We’re local, we understand the humidity issues that come with this area, and we’ve seen what happens when mold or poor air quality goes unaddressed.
Bucks County’s climate creates ideal conditions for mold growth, especially in basements, attics, and bathrooms. We know where to look and what to test for. Our team uses advanced equipment to sample your air and surfaces, then we explain the results in plain terms so you understand what’s happening and what needs to happen next.
We start with a free inspection. You walk us through your concerns—where you’re noticing smells, where symptoms seem worse, any water damage history. We look at the obvious spots and the hidden ones: behind walls, under sinks, in crawl spaces, around HVAC systems.
Then we collect air samples and surface samples depending on what we find. Air sampling captures mold spores, allergens, and other airborne particles. Surface testing checks for mold growth on walls, ceilings, or other materials. We also assess moisture levels since that’s usually the root cause.
Once testing is complete, we send samples to a certified lab for analysis. You get a detailed report showing what contaminants are present, at what levels, and where they’re concentrated. We review the results with you and recommend next steps—whether that’s remediation, ventilation improvements, or moisture control. You’ll know exactly what you’re dealing with and what it takes to fix it.

Our residential air quality testing covers the pollutants that actually affect your health. We test for mold species and spore counts, common allergens like dust mites and pet dander, volatile organic compounds from household products, and overall particulate levels in your air.
In Wismer and throughout Bucks County, we also pay close attention to radon. Pennsylvania has some of the highest radon levels in the country—about 40% of homes here test above safe limits. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer and you can’t see, smell, or taste it. If you haven’t tested for radon, you should.
We use calibrated equipment and certified labs to ensure accurate results. You’re not getting a rough estimate or a pass/fail grade. You’re getting specific data about what’s in your air, how much, and where it’s coming from. That’s what you need to make informed decisions about your home and your family’s health.
If you’re experiencing unexplained health symptoms at home—persistent allergies, respiratory issues, headaches, fatigue—that’s a sign. If you smell something musty or notice visible mold anywhere, that’s another. If you’ve had water damage from a leak, flood, or roof issue, you should test even if you don’t see mold yet.
Some people test before buying a home or after renovations that involved new paint, flooring, or materials that can off-gas chemicals. Others test because they have young children, elderly family members, or someone with asthma or immune issues who’s more vulnerable to poor air quality.
You don’t need symptoms to justify testing. Indoor air quality affects everyone, and most pollutants are invisible. Testing gives you a baseline and peace of mind, or it catches problems early before they become expensive or dangerous.
Air sampling measures mold spores floating in your air. We collect air from different areas of your home and compare spore counts and types to outdoor air. High indoor counts or toxic mold species indicate a problem. Air sampling is useful when you suspect mold but can’t find the source, or when you want to verify that air quality has improved after remediation.
Surface testing involves swabbing or tape-lifting samples from walls, ceilings, or other materials where you see suspected mold growth. This confirms whether it’s actually mold and identifies the species. Some molds are more harmful than others, so knowing what you’re dealing with matters.
We often use both methods together. Surface testing pinpoints active growth. Air sampling shows whether spores are spreading throughout your home. Combined, they give you the full picture of your mold situation and help us recommend the right remediation approach.
The on-site inspection and sample collection usually takes one to two hours depending on your home’s size and the scope of testing. We’re thorough but efficient. You don’t need to leave during testing, and we’ll explain what we’re doing as we go.
After we collect samples, they go to a certified lab for analysis. Lab results typically come back within three to five business days. Once we receive the report, we’ll schedule a time to review it with you in detail—what was found, what the levels mean, and what action is needed.
If you’re dealing with an urgent situation like recent water damage or severe symptoms, let us know. We can often expedite lab processing. Our goal is to get you answers quickly so you can move forward with confidence, not sit around worrying while you wait.
Most air quality testing is completely non-invasive. Air sampling uses pumps and collection devices that simply capture air from different rooms. Surface testing uses swabs or tape that lift samples without damaging materials. You won’t have holes in your walls or any mess to clean up.
In some cases, if we suspect hidden mold behind walls or under flooring, we may recommend a more invasive inspection. But we always discuss that with you first and explain why it’s necessary. We don’t cut into anything without your approval and a clear reason.
Our standard testing process is designed to be as minimally disruptive as possible while still giving you accurate, actionable results. You can go about your day, and when we’re done, your home looks exactly the same—you just have the information you need.
You can, but DIY kits have serious limitations. Most only test for one or two things, the collection methods aren’t standardized, and the lab analysis is often less detailed. You might get a positive or negative result without understanding severity, specific species, or where the problem is concentrated.
DIY kits also don’t include a professional inspection. We know where mold hides—in HVAC systems, behind baseboards, under insulation, in crawl spaces. We understand moisture patterns and building science. A kit sitting on your counter for a few days doesn’t capture that context.
If cost is a concern, we offer free inspections. We’ll assess your situation and help you understand whether full testing is necessary or if there’s a simpler solution. Professional testing costs more upfront, but it gives you reliable data and a clear path forward instead of vague results that leave you guessing.
We walk you through the results first. You’ll see exactly what was found, where, and at what levels. Then we explain what needs to happen—whether that’s mold remediation, improving ventilation, addressing moisture sources, or other air quality improvements.
If remediation is needed, we provide a detailed estimate before any work begins. We contain the affected area, remove contaminated materials safely, treat surfaces, and use HEPA filtration to clean the air. We also identify and fix the moisture problem that caused the mold in the first place so it doesn’t come back.
After remediation, we can do post-testing to confirm that air quality has returned to safe levels. You’re not left wondering if the problem is really gone. We also work with insurance companies if your situation is covered, and we’re available 24/7 if you’re dealing with an urgent issue that can’t wait.
